A DAY IN THE LIFE

Book introduction:
"A DAY IN THE LIFE" is an ongoing project based around photographers from all over the world that add their own slice of life to this growing and interactive initiative.
Everyone is asked to use the same camera (Lomo LC-A) and the same brand of 35mm film (KODAK GOLD) in order to maintain a certain consistency throughout the project and create a single body of work.
All the participants in this book are members of the Lomographic community, an expanding online network of analogue driven photographers from all corners of the planet who have been engaged in various projects during the recent years.
The order of the pages coincide with the order in which I received the film rolls from the participants. Also, the order of the photos remains the same as they were originally shot.
Every new page reveals a subjective look inside someone's personal life, yet there is something strangely familiar about these images, something we can easily identify ourselves with, the different series seem to relate to each other through certain aspects that occasionally reoccur.
Ultimately this project puts our own lives into perspective, it allows us to self-reflect about how we live our own day to day life and explore how others seem to live theirs.

Be sure to check out every picture individually on the lomohome dedicated to this project.

Work in progress.
